A New I Spy Activity to Teach Syllables with Fall Words

Understanding that every syllable must have a vowel sound to determine the number of syllables in a printed word is a 1st Grade Reading Foundational Skill (1.RF.3d.) . In 2nd Grade students know and apply these skills to decode words. I found a new way to teach  about syllables and wanted to share it with all of you. It is an "I Spy" game using fall words.
